With a password protected (private) listing, customers must enter a password - provided by you - to book a listing. This is a great way to control who can book a special event, such as a private party.
Scenario: Your estate winery is offering an exclusive New Year's Eve party to members of your Elite Club (people who buy new release and special release wines by the case). Tickets are $150.00 per person, with a maximum of 50 people attending the party. You want to limit bookings to Elite Club members, so you password protect the listing.
| 1. | Create a listing from the Party or Ticket or Event template. Refer to Creating a listing (general) for more information. |
The listing is created and displayed in Preview mode. If you navigate away from the listing, you can find it again by clicking Manage | Listings and searching for the listing under Inactive listings.
| 2. | Make the listing password-protected: |
| a. | Click the Edit button above the calendar. |
The Pricing, Availability & Extras dialog displays.
| b. | Click the Extras tab. |
| c. | Under Private Listing, enter the password that will be required to access (and book) the listing. |
| d. | Click Save. |
