For some types of listings (such as events or parties), you may want to run back-to-back time slots on the same day, but you need time to "turn" the space between time slots (e.g., cleaning, table and chair set up, resource preparation, decorating, food service set up).
Scenario: You've created a listing for a "Mother's Day Madness" event for kids that runs the day before Mother's Day. When you created the listing, you selected the date and entered an all-day time slot of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. You want to use the turn time functionality to automatically break that all-day time slot down into 4 separate time slots of 90 minutes each with a 30 minute turn time between time slots.
| 1. | Click Manage and select Listings. |
| 2. | On your Listings page, scroll down to the listing and click Edit below the listing name. |
| 3. | Click the Edit button above the calendar. |
The Pricing, Availability & Extras dialog displays.
| 4. | Scroll down to the Availability section. |
| 5. | In the Duration of one booking field: |
| a. | Select either Hours or Minutes from the drop-down list. |
| b. | Enter the duration of one booking in either hours or minutes. |
| 6. | (Optional) If necessary, click the initial listing availability and edit the availability. |
When using the turn time functionality, it's important to select a start and end time that includes all of the booking slots as well as the turn time. For example, if each slot is 90 minutes long, and you want the last slot to start at 6:00pm, you must select 7:30pm as the end time.
| 7. | In the Turn Time section, in the Time required between bookings field, enter the turn time. |
| 8. | Click Save. |
The system automatically creates 4 separate time slots of 90 minutes each with a 30 minute turn time between each slot:
