You can use custom pricing to create
price packages for listings. Price packages are a great
way to set up party listings. For example, if your business offers different
themes for kids' parties, you could use custom pricing to set up different
price packages based on themes.
1.
Click Manage and select Listings.
2.
On your Listings page, scroll down to the listing
and click Edit below the listing name.
3.
Click the Edit button above the calendar.
The Pricing, Availability & Extras dialog displays.
4.
(Optional) Under General, enter the
Spots available per timeslot. This is the maximum
number of people you can accommodate in each scheduled time slot
of the party.
5.
Under Pricing, select Custom.
6.
For Default Price Name, enter the text that
you would like to display next to the price.
For example, if your listing is "Princess Party", you might enter "Base Rate"
in the Default Price Name field so the listing price is
displayed as "Base Rate $350".
7.
For Rate, enter the price per party.
8.
For Spots used for price, enter the same number
you entered in the Spots available per timeslot
field.
9.
To create a price package:
a.
Click Add New Price.
b.
For New Price Name, enter the text that you
would like to display next to the package price.
For example, if one of the "Princess Party" packages that you offer is a
"Snow White"-themed package, you would enter "Snow White Theme" as the
New Price Name.
c.
For Rate, enter the package price.
Note: The package price may be higher than the base
party price if the package includes more expensive options.
d.
For Spots used for price, enter the same number
you entered in the Spots available per timeslot
field.
e.
Click Save.
10.
Repeat the previous step until you have added all of the price
packages.
11.
Click Save.
Now, customers can select from the different party themes in the
Packages section of the listing on your website, and the
pricing is automatically updated for their subtotal:
