Resources are typically linked to more than one listing. However, once resources are completely booked for a specific date or time period through one (or more) listings, they cannot be overbooked even if they are linked to other listings.
For example, if the resource is a room that is linked to both a Princess Party and a Pirate Party listing, and the room is reserved next Saturday afternoon for a Princess Party booking, another customer cannot book a Pirate Party for the same day and time because the room is already reserved for the Princess Party and is not available for another booking.
| 1. | Click Manage and select Listings. |
| 2. | On your Listings page, scroll down to the listing and click Edit below the listing name. |
| 3. | Click the green Edit button next to Resources. |

| 5. | Select a resource. Do one of the following: |

-
Scroll through the list of resources and select the resource.
| 6. | (Optional) Assign the resource to a category to group it with similar resources: |
| a. | In the Category Name field, enter the category under which you want to group the resource. |
| b. | In the Order in Category field, enter a number corresponding to the order the resource should appear when listed under the category. |
For example, if the studio has 2 different rooms available for parties, and you want the customer to be able to select a specific room for their booking, you would select Buyer chooses from a dropdown when you create the room resources, and then enter a Category Name of Rooms for both resources when you link them to the listing. This would group both rooms under a drop-down list labeled Rooms.
Note: If you are grouping resources, they should be visible to customers. In other words, Hide this resource from buyers on listing & checkout should not be selected.
| 7. | (Optional) Enter a Price for the resource and select one of the following pricing options: |
-
Charge only for extra [resource name] that are added by the buyer during purchase: The system will use the number you entered under People Per Resource to calculate the quantity of the resource included in the listing, such as 20 folding chairs. The customer is not charged for the chairs included in the listing. The customer will only be charged for any additional chairs added during checkout.
-
Charge for all [resource name], even those included with the booking: The system will use the number you entered under People Per Resource to calculate the quantity of the resource included in the listing, such as 20 folding chairs. The customer is charged for the chairs included in the listing, as well as for any additional chairs added during checkout.
Note: This option is only visible if you selected Buyer inputs a quantity when you created the resource.
| 8. | (Optional) Select This resource is optional if the resource is an optional add-on, such as extra folding tables and chairs, that the customer can add to their booking. |
Note: This option is only visible if you selected Buyer inputs a quantity when you created the resource.
| 9. | (Optional) Select Hide this resource from buyers on listing & checkout if it is not necessary to show the resource to the customer. |
For example, you might select this option if the resource is the entire studio or a specific room that is included with the booking, and therefore it is not necessary for the customer to see it in the listing or select it during checkout,
