About listing resources

Listing resources can be any of the following:

• Finite location resources (such as studio space, specific rooms, or tables) that are added to a listing to reserve them and prevent double-booking or over-booking.
• Optional location or event resources (such as theme-specific party accessories, extra chairs, or white boards) that can be added to a listing to customize the experience.

You can add the same resource to multiple listings. For finite location resources (such as studio space, specific rooms, or tables), the resource is not reserved until the booking is complete. For example, you might have two event listings (such as Private Kids Party and Private Studio Painting) that are linked to the same resource (such as Gathering Room), but the resource isn't reserved until a customer books one of the events. If a customer books the Private Kids Party event, the Gathering Room becomes unavailable for the specified day and time period and cannot be booked through the Private Studio Painting listing.
