You need to create sending groups for email campaigns. As the name suggests, a sending group is a group of customers who you want to receive your email. For example, you might create a sending group for all customers who have booked a listing in the past, or you might create a sending group for customers who have booked specific listings in the past, like parties for kids. You can also create a sending group from contacts that you have imported from a CSV (comma separated value) file.
| 1. | Click SmartFull. |
| 2. | Click Manage Emails. |
| 3. | Click Sending Groups. |
| 4. | Click Create New Group. |
| 5. | Enter a sending group Name. |
| 6. | Do one of the following: |
-
Click Send to All Customers.
-
Click Send to Some Customers.
| 7. | (Optional) If you selected Send to Some Customers, do one or both of the following: |
-
Click in the Listings in Group field and select the listing(s) to include. Customers who have booked the listing(s) in the past will be included in the sending group.
-
Click Import Customers, click Choose File, select the CSV file, and click Open. Contacts in the CSV file will be included in the sending group.
Note: Download the CSV template if you want to build a contact list manually or you need an example of how to format the contact list. Email is the only required column.
| 8. | Click Save. |
The sending group is added to the list. You can now select this sending group in email campaigns.
