You can create checkout questions that you can add to specific listings or products.
| 1. | Click Manage and select Checkout Questions. |
| 2. | Click Add Question/Info. |
| 3. | In the Question/Info field, enter the question you would like to ask the customer at checkout, such as "Which three paint colors do you prefer?" |
| 4. | (Optional) In the Help Text field, enter any prompts that will help the customer answer the question, such as "Select from black, white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple". |
| 5. | (Optional) In the Question Category field, enter the category to which you want to assign the question, such as "Paint". |
Note: Questions will be grouped into these categories in the Add Additional Info Field drop-down list.
| 6. | (Optional) Select Is required? if you require the customer to answer the question when it is added to a listing or product. |
Warning! If a customer does not answer a required checkout question, two things happen: a reminder displays that there are required fields are must be filled out, and the customer is prevented from completing the booking. This may be confusing for customers. For this reason, you should only make questions required when it is absolutely necessary.
| 7. | Click Save. |
