For example, you might create a promotion to encourage bookings during the first two weeks of the year and call it "KICKSTART2024".

-
The dollar amount that you want to take off the listing price.
-
The percentage that you want to take off the listing price.
| 8. | For Valid Between, enter a Start Date and End Date. |
Promo codes created for the promotion cannot be used before the Start Date or after the End Date. For the "KICKSTART2024" promotion, if you want customers to be able to use the promo codes starting December 1, you would set the Start Date to December 1.
Note: If you want to restrict the listing dates to which the promo codes apply, use the For Events Between field under advanced settings.

-
For Events Between: The customer can only apply the promo codes to listings that start during the specified time period. For example, if the "KICKSTART2024" promotion is Valid Between December 1 and January 15, and you set For Events Between from January 2 to January 15, a customer can use the promo code on December 20 to book a listing that starts January 14, but they cannot use it to book a listing that starts before January 2 or after January 15.
-
Max Uses: The number you enter for Max Uses applies to all promo codes created for the promotion. For example, if Max Uses is set to 50 but you create 2 promo codes, each promo code can be used up to 50 times (or 100 total uses). If you want to limit the use of promo codes to one per booking, up to a maximum of 50 bookings, you should set Max Uses to 1 but create 50 different promo codes. If you leave the Max Uses field empty, there is no limit on how many times promo codes for this promotion can be used.
-
Description: Enter a description of the promotion. This description is only visible to store employees. For example, if you create a promotion that is connected to a Groupon offer, you could add that information in this field.
| 11. | Click Save Promotion. |
The promotion is saved and the initial promo code is automatically generated based on the name you entered into the Promo Group Title field.
You can edit this code, create new codes, import codes, or export codes.
